President and CEO of PROLicensing, Lance K. Evans, graduated from University in Tennessee and immediately found his professional, “calling,” at BMI (Broadcast Music Inc.), in Nashville, as a Licensing Executive; focusing his licensing efforts exclusively in South Florida, The U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. Lance became one of the most successful License Executives at BMI, setting records in both revenue and license production.
With 20 years of Music Licensing experience Lance is well-versed in licensing operations of the three major Performing Rights Organizations (BMI, SESAC and ASCAP). Additionally, Lance remains knowledgeable with the sections of the Title 17 USC addressing the licensing of the Public Performance of Music, including EXEMPTIONS and changes to the law with regard to licensing; specifically, the Fairness in Music Licensing Act of 1998 and most recently, The Music Modernization Act. Both bolster the licensing rights of music end-users seeking Public Performance Licensing.
As your Licensing Advocate, Lance will evaluate your current licensing status with precision to insure the fairness of your licensing, and contractual correctness of your licensing expenditures to help you save money.
